The early years shape everything that follows — language, confidence, emotional regulation, curiosity, and independence. Childhood is not a waiting room for the future. It is the foundation of it.
Keizer Rugrats Playschool was designed with intention: a warm environment, steady routines, clear expectations, and meaningful play that supports real growth without rushing childhood.
Families are not just paying for supervision. They are investing in consistency, curriculum-guided learning, a thoughtfully prepared space, daily rhythm, meals, communication, and a provider who knows each child closely.
This is more than a safe place to spend the day. It is a prepared environment where care, learning, routines, and relationships all work together.
Children are known closely, routines stay steady, and the group does not feel overwhelming.
Play is supported with intentional learning goals, not random activities pulled together at the last minute.
Every item has a purpose. We avoid clutter and rotating “toy piles” so children can focus, engage longer, and build real skills through play.
Kids can be loud, joyful, and fully themselves. The space is designed with calm colors, clear layout, and predictable routines so energy stays positive and regulated.
Care includes long operating hours, meals, rest time, outdoor play, communication, and a thoughtfully prepared space.
A balanced framework that supports both school readiness and childhood — across developmental domains.
Conversation, vocabulary, stories, expressive confidence.
Counting, patterns, spatial awareness, sorting, and logical thinking.
Guided problem-solving, self-control, cooperation, and respectful interaction.
Self-care, routines, responsibility, confidence, and everyday life skills.
Art, music, movement, outdoor exploration, and structured gross motor play.
Intentional media use: Screens are used rarely and only for purposeful instruction, such as safety education or guided movement. Screens are never used as background entertainment or supervision.
Hi, I’m Margarita Alkhfajy — Founder, Director, and Lead Teacher of Keizer Rugrats Playschool.
I have been working in early childhood education for over 3 years, supporting children through some of their most important developmental stages.
I’m also a mother, which shapes how I approach care every day — with patience, awareness, and a deep understanding of what parents are trusting me with.
This playschool grew out of a home that already held so much childhood.
This is a newly opened program, intentionally built from the ground up — and it will continue to grow thoughtfully over time. As the program grows, so will the materials, experiences, and opportunities available to the children here.
It is also the space where my own children played, learned, grew, and made endless rounds of “Mom’s Restaurant” through the little kitchen pass-through.
Now, that same space has been fully dedicated to something new: a calm, structured playschool where other children can feel safe, supported, and truly cared for while they build confidence, independence, and early learning skills.
This is not a “drop-off and hope for the best” environment. It is steady, prepared, and purposeful — with warmth at the center of it all.
Keizer Rugrats Playschool is a Certified Family Child Care program with a playschool feel: small, warm, structured, and curriculum-guided. Children are cared for in a dedicated space with intentional routines, purposeful play, and early learning woven into the day.
We serve children ages 12 months–9 years in a mixed-age setting.
Screens are used rarely and only for a clear purpose, such as a safety lesson or guided movement activity. Screens are never used as background entertainment or supervision.
Our day includes arrival routines, breakfast, circle time, creative centers, outdoor or gross motor play, lunch, rest or quiet time, snack, and afternoon play. The rhythm is structured but flexible enough to meet children’s needs.
Children participate in a calm rest period. Children who do not fall asleep after a reasonable rest window may engage in quiet activities while remaining respectful of resting children.
Families start by submitting the interest form. After that, we talk through your child’s age, schedule needs, routines, and whether the program feels like the right fit. Enrollment is completed through required paperwork and Brightwheel.
Share a little about your family, ask questions, and take the first step toward seeing whether the program feels like the right fit.
Google interest form. Limited openings available. Follow-ups are handled in order of inquiry.
The best way to understand the space is to walk through it, ask questions, and picture your child here.
